Moonspun Spins

Running Professor (RP): My husband, best friend and true companion. Makes me laugh like no one else can and holds me even when I don’t deserve to be held. Loves me for me.

Lil moonspun: My 9 year old daughter. She is entering third grade in the fall. She is vivacious, outgoing, creative and active.  She is legally my adoptive daughter.

Lil RP #1: RP’s oldester daughter, who is 9, and just 6 months older than lil moonspun. She has a unique sense of humor like her dad, is an active and intelligent kid. She lives in the south with her mother, and Lil RP #2, who is 2 1/2.

Former Female Other (FFO):  My former life partner who I was with for 13 years. She is the biological mother of lil moonspun. We share equal custody of lil moonspun since our separation in 2006 and we alternate weeks with her. FFO is quirky and good-hearted, but hasn’t quite found her place in life yet.

Great Boss (GB): My direct supervisor, who is a very funny person. He is old-fashioned because he is simply a nice guy. I am his assistant and couldn’t ask for a better boss. He is flexible and collaborative. Like RP, he’s got a quirky sense of humor, he even writes a humor column for a local paper! He is a single dad of 3 boys who has full time custody of his kids.

Psycho-Mom (PM): A long time friend and former co-worker. Among her many talents, she can count being lil moonspun’s midwife among them. She is mother of two adorable girls and wife to Tattooed Dad. I can count on her to always tell me like it is and rarely be shocked by what I think, feel or say.

Tattooed Dad (TD): Long time friend and creator/administrator of my website. Former co-worker. Very talented guy with quirky sense of humor and no lack of opinions. Husband to Psycho-Mom and aforementioned beautiful children.
